Penetrating Damp

Penetrating damp is the most common form of damp within the home, but often spotting this can be difficult and if not correctly diagnosed it could end up leaving you out of pocket and paying for treatments that are not required and then again as the problem still persists.

Having a timber and damp survey on your home can be very advantageous to you and even more so if you choose the correct person to carry out this survey to identify any underlying problems such as penetrating damp. The surveys are useful when planning to buy or sell a home or if your home is suffering from what you believe to be damp but are unsure of what action or steps to take next.

Many people panic when they believe they have penetrating damp as they often tend to know very little about it and the effects that it could have on your home.
